Join us on an adventure along the Tokaido Road, Japan’s most vital and historic route! The path once linked Kyoto's cultural heart to Edo (now Tokyo) and served as a backdrop in classical Japanese literature and art. Today, this historic path extends to Osaka. 

As we venture through the 21st century version of this golden route, explore the sites of major cities, indulge in delectable regional foods, shop for omiyage, delight in memorable experiences…like admiring sumo wrestlers up close at their morning practice! In celebration of this enduring iconic route, we’ll also revel in the excitement of famous Japanese festivals and dance alongside parading taiko drummers and performers.
